I have been cooking in gourmet restaurants for more than ten years already. I worked at several premier Prague restaurants and for almost two years I gained experience in Zurich, Switzerland.

The highlight of my career is the restaurant V Zatisi, where I have been working as the Chef since September of last year. In the kitchen I try to support the team spirit and a good mood – I think that it reflects in the quality of the food when it is prepared with love and passion. I think it tastes differently then.

I don’t want to be limited by conventions and enjoy combining tastes of ethnic cuisines.

I am considered a part of Zatisi Group’s inventory already, I guess!

I have worked for the company from its start. It is unbelievable, but I started in 1990 as a timid waiter in the Parnas restaurant. Gradually I worked my way up to Chef de Ranque, Deputy Manager and finally Restaurant Manager of V Zatisi in ... Over the last year, for a short period of time, I helped with forming the new team at Bellevue, but now I am back in “my” V Zatisi. I think it is obvious what is keeping me with the company: the huge possibilities of professional development, and gastronomy and service on the highest level. I am a living example of what Zatisi Group makes possible to its people.

Concerning food, I like anything, but my real passion is wines. Most of all I love Rieslings from South Moravia, Rhineland and Alsace.

When you come to V Zatisi, I am the first person you meet. Many of you I have been meeting here again and again. It’s been 11 years that I have worked for the company and it’s been the same restaurant all the time. Can you imagine?! It seems to be my family already. I have learned a lot here and the greatest satisfaction I feel comes from the fact that some of you have been coming back for several years already.

Although you won’t find them on our menu, it’s the Czech poppy seed “skubanky” I like the most.
