Michelin-starred French chef Richard Toix  

from 21 to 24 March at V Zátiší

We welcome back spring in grand style! Visiting chef Richard Toix is returning to us after his great success of last September.  

Richard was born on St. Valentine’s Day and already knew as a child that he wanted to become a chef. After cooking at the three-star Les Frères Roux restaurant in London and at several top restaurants in France, he took a year-long hiatus to consider his next move. Eventually, this former rugby player opened a cosy venue called Le Champ de Foire with his wife Laure in Lencloître, near Poitiers. After 15 years, he decided to share his culinary fantasies with greater numbers of guests, and refurbished the Chalet de Venise in Saint-Benoît with a charming terrace and garden by the Miosson river. Nine months after the launch of the new restaurant under the name Passions et Gourmandises, he was awarded a Michelin star for his very creative way of presenting local seasonal ingredients.
